We are back home from Roswell after a long day. Apparently I lost 2 pounds since Tuesday? Maybe it’s just water or something but I’m not trying to lose anymore. Chris had a couple of meetings at work that he had to go to so he dropped me off and then came back around 12pm which was perfect timing. I met with the Dr. who had reviewed my CT scan from last week. She said once again that everything looked great! I feel extremely grateful as I’m in this facebook group with people who have the same diagnosis, and sometimes people say how their bodies stop responding to chemo. Thank god I am one of the lucky ones! They ultimately decided to keep the dose the same rather than increase it. I try not to listen to people but admittedly do so anyway . I heard from ‘people on the internet’ (we all know anything posted on the internet must be true) that even though the chemo may not be increased it continues to build in your system each time and that the last two are the worst. Let’s hope I’m the exception or this is the one inaccurate thing posted online. I did get a little nervous in the car on the ride back thinking about this today though. Who knows.. some people said it was easier than the first.
